Abstract
ABSTRACTA new 270° sectoral microstrip antenna (MSA) is proposed. It has additional resonance mode whose frequency lies below the fundamental mode of equivalent circular patch. Furthermore, slot cut 270° sectoral MSA is proposed. It gives bandwidth of more than 500 MHz (> 45%) with broadside radiation pattern and peak gain of 8.5 dBi. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
