Abstract

The Coalition to Stop Opioid Overdose (CSOO), a group pulled together by the American Society of Addiction Medicine and including many mental health organizations such as the American Psychiatric Association, the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, the Behavioral Health Association of Providers and the Kennedy Forum, has sent a letter to Congress calling for strengthening the addiction service workforce via fiscal year 2023 (FY23) appropriations.
