Abstract

As evidence that investors continue to show keen interest in virtual platforms delivering mental health treatment, virtual practice organization Valera Health last month announced the closing of a $44.5 million growth equity raise. Valera's CEO told MHW last week that the new financing will allow the company to increase its capacity to serve high‐acuity patients, one of the factors it cites in distinguishing itself from other virtual clinical care services.
