Abstract
The British Museum in London has adopted smart card technology to assist service delivery and enhance the visitor experience. As part of its Compass project, the museum is using a smart card purse and print management system to store, print and pay for print-outs and photocopies on 50 Compass workstations, which give access to 5000 on-line artefacts.
