Abstract

ABSTRACT Agricultural intensification, urbanization, overpopulation by both native and invasive species and diseases have all had marked effects on populations of British mammals over the last 50 years. Here, accounts are presented of the effects of these processes with a prospective view of what the future holds for the mammals of Britain.
