British Library ms. add. 16,386 and the Summulae Logicales of Petrus Hispanus

Abstract

This article is devoted to a palaeographic analysis on the British Library ms. add. 16,386. A description of the codex is given with the description of its contents. The text correspond to the Tractatus also known as Summulae Logicales. The authorship of the work will not be addressed. Paleographic arguments are given in order to propose a date. I will point out characteristics that could show some relevance of this codex in the study of the text of the Summulae Logicales.
