Abstract
The 2011 British Dam Society (BDS) Strategy has been reviewed and updated by a Working Group from the BDS Committee. This article summarises the process for agreeing the updates and the changes made. It describes the next steps that will be taken to achieve the five new objectives and to work towards the BDS's vision to be a growing, inclusive and vibrant society, sharing knowledge and improving reservoir safety.
