Abstract
The course is for neonatologists and paediatricians who want to gain basic echo skills and learn about important aspects of congenital heart disease. It takes place over two days, and the emphasis is on encouraging participants to get as much hands-on experience as possible. The first day starts with lectures on the basic physics of ultrasonography and echocardiography, on cardiac anatomy, and on the approach to echo in the newborn, including the standard views.
