Abstract

In the early 1950s, Chinese government let traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) practitioners get job training, and make them be able to do more prevention work. After 1954, Fusion TCM to modern-western medicine was denied, the modern-western medicine practitioners were forced to learn TCM. We explored the procedure of the event of TCM practitioners from job training to class education. This harsh procedure reveals the evolution of TCM policy after 1949.
