Abstract

AbstractIn this review of Arlene Fish Wilner’s Rethinking Reading in College: An Across‐the‐Curriculum Approach, the author explores how Wilner leverages a rich understanding of college‐level reading to advocate for reading across the curriculum. By encouraging teachers to make explicit connections between discourse and disciplinary epistemology, Wilner’s book does important equity work that has the potential to bridge reading instruction from high school to the last year of college.
