Abstract
Based on a corpus drawn both from the database available on the official sites of the European Union and the French electronic press, the present paper aims to identify new lexemes recorded in language as a result of the global health crisis. In many cases, the appearance of a new word proves the strong creativity of the linguistic system through various lexical and grammatical processes.
