Abstract
Reconsidering the figuration of the storyteller as hlayqi·a, we propose a meditation in two stories on ways of breathing out of the university, and into many schools, allowing for the re-activating of translocal non-aligned pedagogies of liberation to come to the fore. Through two different stories, two different lived experiences relating with the at times frivolous movements and ga(s)ping resonances of the wind, we re-conceive our precarious affiliation with the university to unlearn and relearn forms of knowing, sensing and being in a pluriversality. By bringing two different lived experiences together in one meditation, we hope to move with and be moved by momentary confluences of different winds, blowing from dissimilar and at times antagonizing spaces, times and histories to abolish hegemonic forms of knowledge production, pedagogies and histories proper to the university. By doing so, this recalcitrant meditation will hold space for the articulation of a plurality of possible worlds to come.
