Abstract

Background: Breast cancer presents a leading cancer and the main cause of mortality in women. Proportion of advanced breast cancer cases remains high in the country. A cross-sectional survey on the assessment of chronic pain, previously conducted in advanced cancer patients showed that the majority of the study patients of the productive ages were unaware of the causes of pain and expressed no interest to learn diagnoses of their suffering. It presented an interest to study breast cancer in young women and coverage level with mass screening.
