Abstract
Tunneling spectroscopy measurements on pure Bi 2Sr 2Ca 1Cu 2O 8+ x single crystals have been performed by the break-junction technique. The differential conductance curves have been analyzed in the frame of s-, d- or s+d-wave models for the symmetry of the superconducting state. Evidence for predominance of the d-wave component has been found.
