Performance ImprovementVolume 38, Issue 8 p. 7-9 Commentary Brazilification and biology William Coscarelli, William Coscarelli William Coscarelli: is currently teaching in the; instructional design specialization at Southern Illinois University at Carbonale's Department of Curriculum and Instruction, where he is a Professor and a former Director of the Hewlett-Packard World Wide Test Development Center. Bill has served as the founding editor of Performance Improvement Quarterly, as the first vice president of publications for the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), and as president of ISPI. He is author of the Decision Making Inventory, coauthor of The Guided Design Guidebook, and most recently Criterion-Referenced Test Development for Corporate Training: Technical and Legal Guidelines for Corporate Training and Certification, which has won the outstanding book award from both ISPI and the Association for Educational Communications and Technology's Division of Instructional Development. His global consulting work is primarily in the field of criterion-referenced test development and certification.
