Research Article| December 08 2020 Brazilian Women’s Cinema from the Retomada to Bolsonaro Karla Holanda, Karla Holanda Karla Holanda is a professor and researcher in the Cinema and Video Department and the Postgraduate Program in Cinema and Audiovisual Studies (PPGCine) at Universidade Federal Fluminense, Rio de Janeiro. She has edited the books Mulheres de cinema (2019), about the history of world cinema from a female perspective, and Feminino e plural: mulheres no cinema brasileiro (2017), a history of women filmmakers in Brazil. She is also a filmmaker.
