Abstract

• Structural magnetic resonance imaging scans were acquired from highrisk infants who had mothers with schizophrenia (N=26 at age 1; N=20 at age 2) and from matched typically developing infants (N=52 at age 1; N=40 at age 2) of control mothers. • Infants were matched based on gender, gestational age at birth, and ethnicity. • Image acquisition was performed using a Siemens head-only 3-Tesla scanner during unsedated natural sleep. • T1 weighted image parameters: MP-RAGE, TE of 4.38ms, and flip angle of 7° • T2 weighted image parameters: TSE, TR of 6200ms, TE1 of 20ms, TE2 of 119ms, and flip angle of 150°
