Abstract

A psammodontid tooth fragment has been collected in a massive limestone referred to the Visean, in the Ban Pak Chom area (Thailand), and confirms its Lower Carboniferous age. A tooth referred to Deltodus sp., associated with teeth of « Cladodus type, has been found in a Lower Permian biodetritic limestone at Ban Na Chareon (E of Loei, Thailand). These two bradyodont remains emphasize the large geographical distribution of the group.
