Abstract

Achalasia cardia (AC) is a primary motility disorder of the esophagus characterized by the absence of oesophageal peristalsis and incomplete relaxation of the lower oesophageal sphincter. AC is known to be associated with symptomatic bradycardia, dizziness and rarely swallow syncope.
