Abstract
The structure and stereochemistry of two closely related new feeding deterrents, isolated from the digestive glands of the mollust Aplysia brasiliana , are reported. These compounds, which proved to be brominated eudesmanes, have the same absolute configuration as natural β-eudesmol.
