Abstract
Purpose: High-dose-rate brachytherapy (HDR-BT) treatment of cervical cancer with CT based three-dimensional (3D) reconstruction offers opportunities for individualized conformal treatment planning rather than fixed point-A dosimetry that enables better optimized dose distribution to planning target volume (PTV) and understands the dose exposure of critical organs.
