Abstract

New chonetid species Rugaria semicircularis sp. nov. and Chonetinetes elongatus sp. nov. from the subfamily Rugosochonetinae, family Rugosochonetidae are described and Micraphelia sp. from the subfamily Undulellinae, family Rugosochonetidae, and Mongolochonetes sp. from the subfamily Delepineinae, family Daviesiellidae, are determined from the Sakamotozawa Formation, Lower Permian and Kanokura and Kamiyasse Formations, Middle Permian of the South Kitakami Belt, Northeast Japan.
