Abstract
The preferred access for hemodialysis is a native autogenous arteriovenous fistula because fistulas have lower complication rates and better longevity compared with prosthetic grafts.1 However, fistulas are inclined to develop such complications as aneurysm, pseudoaneurysm, venous stenosis, venous hypertension, thrombosis, hemorrhage, arm edema, steal syndrome, and infection.2 Pseudoaneurysm in the brachial artery is a rare complication of hemodialysis therapy. We report the case of a man who presented with several small brachial artery pseudoaneurysms because of repeated inadvertent needle punctures of the brachial artery during access of the arteriovenous fistula.
