Abstract

In recent years, there have been several papers on the norms of some special matrices. However, the bounds of symmetric Toeplitz matrix is still not clear, which is an important issue for related research area. In this paper, focusing on the theoretical analysis and mathematical proof, we find out some bounds for a symmetric Toeplitz matrix which is widely used in information theory with the first row (x 0,x 1, ⋯ ,x n − 1) in the case of x i = P i and x i = Q i , where P i and Q i are Pell number and Pell-Lucas number respectively.
