Abstract
T importance of correct boundary conditions for establishing uniqueness in the numerical computation of internal gas dynamic flows is stressed. A procedure based on the general theory of Linear Symmetric Positive Systems is shown which generates proper boundary conditions. In particular, boundary conditions are developed for subsonic, transonic, and supersonic internal flows in steady-state and transient formulations.
