Abstract

ABSTRACT This work reports the solubility of bosentan (BST) in some binary mixtures of polyethylene glycol dimethyl ether 250 (PEGDME 250) and water at different temperatures, i.e. 293.15–313.15 K under atmospheric pressure (≈ 85 kPa). Increasing the solubility of BST is observed with an increase temperature as well as PEGDME 250 portion with the maximum value in neat PEGDME 250 at 313.15 K. Some cosolvency models such as the Jouyban-Acree, the Jouyban-Acree-van’t Hoff, and the double log-log models were also used to correlate the experimental solubility data and the untested data were predicted based on the obtained trained models.
