Abstract

The semantic characteristics of Boris Lyatoshinsky's creative heritage of the 1910s are analyzed in the context of the formation of his musical language. Also, a comprehensive analysis of Boris Lyatoshynsky's personality in the early period of life was carried out with the aim of biographical reconstruction by collecting and organizing new information, found works of these years and other archival sources, significantly updating the scenario of the artist's life-creation in the 1910s. In all known so far lists of works by B. Lyatoshinsky this period is represented by three (I. Belz, N. Zaporozhets) and four (V. Samokhvalov) compositions. However, in addition to them, in the 1910s, 31 more works of different genre orientation were written (20 of which were put into musicological circulation), which testifies to the considerable creative potential of the young artist, the originality of his composer's thinking. The material of the study consists of unknown and little-known materials of the sources of the BN Lyatoshinsky Memorial Cabinet-Museum and other museum-archive funds of Ukraine, which form the so-called field of personal documents of the composer.
