Abstract
The paper presents a downhole tool designed for gas-dynamic research to be carried out in coalbed methane drainage holes. Structurally, the tool has a twin-packer design. The tool allows hydraulic fracturing, gas-dynamic investigations using indicator diagrams and pressure drop and recovery curves, and local destressing of coal.
