Abstract

The THOM isomorphism Theorem (1) allows an immediate extension to the strong shape category of compacta: The shape homology TBG n (X) with coefficient in a THOM spectrum turns out to be isomorphic to the bordism group Ω G n(X) which is defined like Ω G n (X) but with strong shape morphisms replacing continuous mappings (Theorem 1.2).
