Abstract

Abstract Bordetella trematum has been isolated from various sources, including wounds, peritoneal fluid, bone, and blood. We report on a new case of B. trematum bacteremia caused by an unknown source in an adult who experienced rapid clinical deterioration despite clearing blood cultures with broad-spectrum antibiotics.
