Abstract

In this article, I try to develop the idea of understanding a borderline patient as a type of psychopath of the mind. As well as acting out feelings and thoughts, such a patient also tends to act inwardly, transforming thoughts into concrete inner objects, so that thinking becomes equated to mental action. My aim in this article is to describe and to interpret some aspects of borderline patients and narcissistic personalities in a group context.
