Abstract

Aromatic amines are important intermediates in organic synthesis. In this work, an innovative method of synthesizing aromatic amines was designed, which simplified the reduction of nitro groups by using the complexation of borane with neighboring lone pair. The versatility and effectiveness of this technology make it a superior alternative to traditional methods, which is emphasized by the successful application in 12 different examples.
