Abstract
A search engine is a computer program created to systematically browse the Internet for specific information provided in a text-based web search query. Typically, the search findings can be found in a summary of the outcomes, also known as search engine results pages. A search engine maintains the following operations in almost real-time for web crawling, indexing, and searching. The search engine searches for the exact words or phrases that are entered. Some engines have a sophisticated function called proximity search that lets users specify the separation amongst terms. There is searching based on concepts, which involves performing statistic-based analytics on web pages with searched keywords or phrases. The optimisation terms in SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) are used for increasing website traffic through search engine results, which helps websites perform better on pages returned by search engines. SEO increases a website’s visibility to users of search engines like Yahoo!, Google, and Bing searching for or looking into solutions that the product or brand can deliver. The focus of this article is to validate that the most significant impact of SEO is that it increases traffic to the website. This descriptive paper uses qualitative research to understand the best SEO tool available. The solution is provided by analysing the collected data from research papers, articles, professional reports, websites of solution providers and whitepapers
