Abstract
Miss Barnes, advisor to CARE Book Fund, has a wide background of experience as library advisor. foreign relief administrator, and lecturer. During her work with United Yugoslavia Relief Fund, she developed a book project for universities and public health institutions in Yugoslavia, She became a member of the CARE staff in the fall of 1949 soon after its Book Fund project went into actual operation.
