Abstract

In this new book, Alan Davidson has revised and updated the text of Renal Parenchymal Disease published in 1977. In addition, he has incorporated much new material covering most other aspects of renal radiology, with some chapters by invited contributors. The early chapters concern techniques, with new sections on ultrasound, computed tomography (CT) and angiography, and expansion of the discussion of the adverse effects of contrast media in the section on urography. There is a succinct chapter on interventional techniques (Reznek & Talner) and a discussion of radionuclide investigations (Morita & McCormick). The section on anatomy includes new material on developmental anomalies.
