Abstract

“Hine and Brownell”—it has never been called by its proper title Radiation Dosimetry—has become so much of an institution that it is difficult to believe it has now been superseded. When faced with a new problem in some unfamiliar field it was always worth seeing if Hine and Brownell could help—and one was usually lucky. Now it has gone, and in its place are three separate volumes, each costing as much as the original book.
