Abstract
The 4th edition of the Textbook Human Metabolism: A Regulatory Perspective by Keith N. Frayn and Rhys D. Evans (Wiley Blackwell © 2019) is a pleasant surprise for those of us who have read and made great use of the previous three editions. Knowing that Professor Frayn was retiring my personal concern was that the 3rd edition from 2010 would be the last. It is therefore reassuring to find that the fourth edition is co-authored by Phys Evans, also from Oxford, UK, improving chances that this important textbook will continue to be updated also in the future.
