The Econlit abstract of this book begins: “Analyzes the economics and politics of currency manipulation, globally and with respect to the key individual countries that engage in repeated intervention or feel its effects, and demonstrates empirically the strong connection between official foreign-exchange intervention and trade imbalances.”
