Abstract
The foreword states that this book contains the full text of the papers presented at a symposium entitled “New Developments in Physical and Biological Radiation Detectors”, attended by 170 participants from 29 member states and five international organizations. The exchange of information was devoted in particular to the instrumentation and the radiosensitive elements used in the field of radiological protection dosimetry, and to the calibration and standardization of such equipment. The text includes the discussions on the individual contributions.
