Abstract

That quote expresses what the book tries to accomplish: the deification of science and satanizing of religion. It attempts to convince by a flood of logical fallacies, tactical definitions, historical distortions, monomaniacal evolutionary cant, and pontifical dogmatizing. As Coyne writes, “Nobody is more convincing than a liar who believes his own lies”
