Abstract
The book outlines key questions that the US and China should consider in developing a long-term strategy to understand the importance of a synergistic and cooperative relationship as against the uninformed impulse to outcompete one another. The author provides that although the competition between the US and China is both inevitable and avoidable, the main emphasis of the book lies in rationally deciphering certain key issues for a long-term and mutually beneficial China-US alliance.
