Abstract

A description is given of the changes following hypophysectomy in osteolytic, osteosclerotic and mixed types of bone metastases in breast cancer, laying emphasis on the development and progress of the sclerotic lesion. In addition a description is given of two cases which developed subsequent iatrogenic Cushing's type disease.
