Abstract

Purpose: Recently, cell transplantation is focused on as the useful method to treat severe cardiovascular disease. There are several ways to inject cell to target lesion including transendocardial method, but the useful tools to inject cells still need to be explored. In this study, we examined the efficacy and feasibility of the newly developed catheter for transendocardial delivery, injecting bone marrow stromal cell (BMSC) in porcine infarcted heart.
