Abstract

Bone density measurements are useful in screening patients at risk, and diagnosis for osteoporosis. Many technology provides means of measuring densities of peripheral and axial bones. Dual energy X-ray densitometry is most practical method for diagnosis and monitoring, which is of good precision and accuracy. Peripheral X-ray densitometry and QUS were practical method for screening. In this paper, performance for risk assessment, diagnosis, monitoring are discussed.
