Abstract
An accurate modelling of flexible multibody systems is not a simple task because the flexible phenomena involve complex models which, at times, cannot be used in simulation and control. The object of this paper is to present some bond-graph modelling procedures of a flexible slender beam which can have relatively large planar displacements. The model can then be incorporated into the model of a multibody system with rigid beams.
