Abstract
In this issue of Cell Chemical Biology, Grossman etal. (2017) disclose a chemoproteomics-enabled strategy to identify the cysteine-reactive target(s) of the anti-cancer natural product withaferin A and then screen a cysteine-reactive fragment library to discover a covalent ligand for the same target.
