Abstract

Thick adenine (C 6H 6N 6) targets have been used to investigate the reaction of 6Li ions with 14N. Relative angular distributions at bombarding energies of 5.3, 5.64 and 6.0 MeV have been determined for protons, deuterons and alphas leading to the lower states in 19F, 18F and 16O, respectively. A yield curve was obtained between 4.1 and 6.3 MeV to compare the cross sections at the various energies.
