Abstract

In this paper, we construct the single kink and double kink domain wall solutions by considering the non-canonical $K$-field in a flat five-dimensional spcaetime. The localization of chiral fermion is also investigated with the Yukawa coupling mechanism, and the corresponding massless left-chiral fermion can be localized on the $K$-field two types domain walls. The effective potentials of the chiral fermion on the two types domain walls will have different behaviors and the corresponding effective potential of the chiral fermion on the double-kink domain wall will have double well, and which means that the double kink domain wall will have mroe richer internal structures.
