Abstract
An experimental study of two phase boiling heat transfer of liquid nitrogen in avertical lunate channel, which was formed by extreme eccentric circular tubes, was carried out and is reported. The experimental results show that the heat flux amounts to 9000 W/m2 while the temperature difference of heat transfer is only 1. 1 K in lunate channel. The performance of heat transfer reaches the similar level as sintered tube with porous surface whose boiling heat transfer coefficient is admitted to be the highest at present.
