Abstract
The presented paper examines the First Republic activities of Bohuslav Ečer, general of the judicial service, professor of international criminal law and well-known “Nazi hunter”. Ečer’s legal and political activities are examined, as well as his analysis of events on the international scene. Ečer’s political and legal views during the First Republic illustrate his character and personality traits and illuminate his actions during and after World War II.
